Your passports, keys, essential documents and medication should not be hidden in the removal load. Pack what you need during the journey and the period before delivery in your own travel bags.
Think about your first night too. If the load is arriving later, arrange the basics independently rather than relying on immediate access to a box in the vehicle.
Get the new address ready
Confirm the building’s delivery rules, parking and lift access. Identify someone who can receive the load and can be contacted if arrangements change. If you need a permit or a booking slot, establish who is arranging it.
