Office removals in Essex & London

Office removals across Essex and London. Start with an inventory, access details and a handover plan so the physical move fits around your business.

Give the move a clear owner

An office move brings together people who may have very different deadlines: your landlord, building manager, IT provider and staff. Nominate one person to keep the moving information together and one contact at each property on the day.

DNE can discuss the physical move of your office furniture and equipment. Tell us the size of the office, the proposed route and when each premises will be accessible. If you need a particular time window, raise it at the enquiry stage so we can check availability.

Start with what is moving, not the number of desks

List desks, chairs, meeting tables, cupboards and boxed materials separately. Add photographs and dimensions for unusually large or heavy pieces. Decide what will be reused at the new address and what will stay behind.

A floor plan helps turn a collection of boxes into an organised delivery. Mark the destination room or desk number on each item. Keep that naming system consistent across the plan, labels and staff instructions.

Check the buildings at both ends

Ask your building manager about goods lifts, loading areas, booking slots and any protection they require for communal areas. A normal passenger lift may not accommodate the furniture, and access available during the week may be different at weekends.

Share the rules with DNE before the move. Include door codes through an appropriate private channel, not in photographs or public documents.

Keep IT and confidential material in the right hands

Agree the disconnection and reconnection of equipment with your own IT provider. Physical transport is not a promise of data migration, network setup or secure document destruction. Take responsibility for backups and identify who will carry laptops, confidential files and other sensitive items.

If unwanted furniture or material needs clearing, discuss it separately from the move. Our site clearance page explains the information needed to assess a collection.

A quote you can plan around

Send an inventory, collection and destination addresses, floor levels and your preferred schedule. Ask the quote to identify what is included and any assumptions about access, parking or waiting.

Use our office move checklist to prepare the handover, then send DNE your move details.

Your questions, answered

Can the move happen outside normal working hours?

Tell us the time window you need. We will check availability and building access before confirming arrangements; out-of-hours moves are not guaranteed.

Do you disconnect and reconnect computers?

Do not include IT setup in your assumptions. Arrange technical work with your IT provider and agree separately which equipment DNE will transport.

Where are you moving next?

Tell us the postcodes, the date and what needs to move. We’ll take it from there.
